Air Rehab: When The Court Has Ordered You To Go

Everyone goes to AIR rehab for different reasons. Some people go because they realized on their own that they had a problem. Other people go because their family and friends had an intervention and begged them to get help for their addiction problem. Some people go because their job told them they had to get help before they could come back to work. Then there are the people that have been ordered by the court to go.

It’s difficult when you’ve gone up before a judge and have been mandated to go to rehab or go to jail. You may feel like you don’t need rehab but that you didn’t have a choice. Well, that’s not entirely true. You did have a choice your choice was jail or rehab.

A Family Intervention: Calling In The Big Guns

Interventions work and interventions don’t work for different reasons. Sometimes they work because the addict is ready to go and they just need everyone to come together and tell them that. Other times, they work because the addict wanted to go all along and it just took know that they had this great support system there that would continue to be there post rehab. And then there are the times that an intervention only works when it’s a family intervention. Sometimes family members don’t want to participate they are so angry at the addict. Maybe the addict ruined their Christmas party. Sometimes you have to put that aside to help them get well.

Substance Abuse Center: Coming Out A Changed Man

You might have be a little wary when your spouse for told you that he or she wanted to go to a substance abuse center. You might have felt like they didn’t really have that big of a problem. Or you may not believed they could help him because his addiction was too far gone. You might have been angry because you asked him or her over and over again to get help and they didn’t. But once he or came out changed for the better you realized you were wrong.
