Addiction Intervention: Air Recovery, Preparing The Addict For Sobriety
Addiction Intervention: Intervening Before It’s Too Late
You’ve seen the addict fall down a few times from drugs or alcohol. Friends an family have had several talks about the addict and their addiction problem. The only talk you haven’t had is when to intervene. Everyone has shared a story and everyone has voiced concern but no one has stated the obvious which is this person has an addiction problem and needs rehab. While you cannot make the addict go to rehab you can stage an addiction intervention and voice to them that you think they are an addict and need to go to rehab.
Family and friends sometimes wait until it’s too late when they addict has either been in an accident, hurt someone or hurt themselves because of their addiction problem. The best way not to feel like you could have done more is to hire an interventionist, talk to a rehab and get the addict the help they need by staging and intervention with family and friends and people who they will listen to in order to get help.
Addiction Treatment Center: Is Air Recovery Always Successful?
When it comes to an addiction treatment center the goal is to get the addict through detox, get them into counseling and get them on the path to air recovery. Does that mean that rehab is always successful and that an addict that goes to rehab comes out on the side a sober person for the rest of their life? No it doesn’t. Addicts come out of rehab and relapse, they come out of rehab and immediately go for the bottle, they come out of rehab are sober for years and then slip up and they come out of rehab and never touch alcohol or drugs every again. Recovery is a process and an addict has to want to stay sober and even in the best circumstances they slip it’s most important that they have the tools necessary to spot possible relapse so that it can be prevented.
